Needing a new roof and rain gutter system with the possibility of siding as an option I began a search for roofing companies. Using an online home improvement site overwhelmed my phone and email with way too many contractors to realistically make a decision. Looking at the responding emails I noticed some companies are BBB members. I chose 8 contractors in my area to offer quotes. All 8 were interviews and submitted quotes. Three of the eight needed not submit quotes due to pressure asserted to use their company. One representative stood out heads and toes above the others. That is David Cruz of Cruz Roofing and Siding. David surveyed the job and offered suggestions etc. and send his quote to us quickly (1st received) after being the last interview. As requested each portion of the job was itemize. After the bids were reviewed the remaining two contractors re-interviewed and small changes in the specs, David Cruz once again impressed us with his companies price quote, time frame to start and finish, and a willingness to work around our work schedule, Cruz Roofing and Siding was awarded the job. The first and every day after Cruz Roofing showed up on time, work til dark, and cleaning up the ground like never before. David offered suggestions and kept us informed about and including expected and unexpected problems as work went on. He never assumed anything. Cruz's time frame would have been met except for a cancelled day due to rain Inspecting the final job of a new roof, rain system, siding, and two new bay windows, we are extremely pleased with Cruz Roofing and Siding Co. David and his crew were always pleasant and co-operate. We have only good things to say about Cruz roofing. After a storm, there was a branch that had pierced out roof. David came out that same day and patched it up without taking any $. He came back and looked over the roof, and emailed his estimate the same day. After checking out some other roofers, we discovered that the quote was more than appropriate. David even consulted with our insurance company, to make sure all was right! The job came out great. They were efficient and thorough. I would definitely recommend them. They have since helped out a friend of mine who needed help with some siding. Again he went right out and gave her a fair quote...really helped her out!
